What is CDL Class A License?
A CDL Class A (Commercial Driver’s License – Class A) is the most comprehensive commercial license available in the United States. It authorizes drivers to operate a combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, provided that the vehicle being towed weighs more than 10,000 pounds. What You Can Drive with a Class A CDL:
A Class A CDL allows you to operate a wide range of commercial vehicles, including:

- Truck and trailer combinations
